one of my school friends is getting married, he is all excited that he still has few more fun days left in life. well his marriage reminds of mine ...it was full of melodrama when we (me and she) announced the obvious to our family. I was very politely asked to leave the girl alone and stick to being a madrasi, but tough luck for marvari's, their girl did not want to be left alone
Anyways during the melodrama days, i bought a nice pair of Reebok shoes, i was prepared to elope :-). We visualized us running away, jumping onto some truck loaded with sheep and goats, singing some nice duet before we are stopped at some check point by Tamil tigers and/or marvari uncles but still managing to dodge them and disappear in some jungle where we could eventually get married in a small temple and live happily ever after !
but real life is less filmy, so no eloping, no Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak...
